“After a perfect day of welcome spring sunshine, the Lake District woke up to a blanket of snow,” the filmer later wrote online.
“The Met office issued a Yellow weather warning for snow during the morning commute to work. The snow was heavy as dawn broke, but soon stopped and left the landscape looking more like a winter scene. The lakes were mirror flat and shrouded in mist and looked almost featureless in the early morning snow.”
