A 15-year-old boy held up a toddler hanging out of the first-floor window of a residential building as his head got stuck in the security bars in eastern China.

Heroic video filmed in the county of Junan in Shandong Province on February 9 shows a teen named Song Zhengde seeing a toddler hanging out of a first-floor window and climbing out of the window in a corridor to hold the child up .

Song attempted to push the child into the flat for multiple times but failed so he could only hold the boy up for more than ten minutes until the child's mother came back home.

The mother and Song then worked together to bring the child back to safety.

2月9日下午，山东临沂莒南县，15岁初中生宋政德因事路过富源商贸城附近，听到一阵儿童哭叫声，感觉情况紧急，不像一般得孩子哭闹，他用眼扫描了一圈，发现一个二三岁的孩子悬挂在二楼防盗网上，脑袋被卡住，整个身体悬挂在半空中，随时有掉下来的危险。

宋政德急忙跑到楼上，拼命的砸门，砸了一会也没反应，幸亏孩子挂在的是二楼，他急忙顺着楼道窗户爬到楼外，顺着暖气管道和窗沿爬到小孩的位置，用自己的双手全力托住了孩子，多次试图把孩子托回楼内，但孩子太小，拼命的挣扎，根本不会配合，多次施救均失败，只有用手托举才能确保小孩安全，托举了十多分钟后，孩子的母亲才外出回来了，发现是自己的孩子，拼命赶回家中，从里面拉住孩子，宋政德在外面托举，在两人的努力下，终于把孩子救了出来。看到孩子没事，宋政德便悄然的离开了。
“当时情况很紧急，换做谁都会去做的”。宋政德说，“我只是做了一个普通人该做的事。”（视频由山东台提供）
