Fell running juniors with the best UK terrain on their doorstep
The Lake District's fells offer some of the finest running trails in the UK and these lucky juniors, racing at the Langdale Gala, have access to some of the very best terrain right on their doorstep.
There is an active fell running scene in Cumbria, with many clubs oversubscribed as kids take up the sport. Most clubs, like Ambleside AC, who can be seen training at the start of the video, run up the local fells all year round. The kids soon learn there is no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing.
