Moment child miraculously walks away from car accident in China
Dramatic footage shows the moment a 'speeding' driver hit a seven-year-old boy while he was crossing a road in Shandong, China on Saturday.
The video, provided by local authorities, shows the driver's perspective of the horrific accident. The child miraculously walked away with only cuts and bruises after being sent flying through the air.
He can be seen running into the path of the vehicle - being hit before the driver's braking can stop the car. The footage, providing a cautionary tale for drivers, shows the speed at which the boy goes from playing by the side of the road to being thrown forwards.
According to local reports the child suffered mild facial injuries - it's not known whether the driver will face police action over the accident.
