A cat intensely watched a "Tom and Jerry" cartoon playing on a TV in northern China.

Video filmed in the city of Xi'an in Shaanxi Province on October 30 shows a British shorthair named A Qiu focusing on the children's cartoon and moving from the sofa to in front of the TV.

The owner Ms Lu said A Qiu likes to play with the plants. In order to protect the plants when Lu was busy with something else, she always plays cartoons on the TV to attract A Qiu's attention.
