Heroic man shouts ‘run’ to ice fishermen on thawing river in China
A heroic man shouted ‘run’ to inform fishermen to leave a cracking frozen river in northern China.
Video filmed in Tianjin on December 10 shows the ice surface of a frozen river cracking and a man being heard shouting to the fishermen to warn them.
The fishermen were then seen running away from the frozen river.
According to reports, the water was discharged from upstream causing the ice surface to crack.
The local government workers said they had issued an announcement of discharging water a week ago and banned the residents from going out on the frozen river.
Fortunately, all people on the frozen river were evacuated.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
