Travellers played badminton and another did skipping on a highway when the cars they were in got stuck in Lunar New Year traffic in southwest China.

The video was filmed in the city of Guiyang in Guizhou Province on January 26.

A traveller named Wang said she drove to leave Meishan City in Sichuan Province in the morning of the 26th and only arrived in Foshan City in Guangdong Province in the evening of the 27th, which is more than 10 hours longer than usual.

Since the Lunar New Year holiday period is coming to an end, Chinese people started to travel back to their workplaces, causing traffic congestion on the highway.

As the motorists got stuck in the traffic for too long, they got off their vehicles to do some exercise.
