Meet the talented chimp that washes his own plates after eating
A chimpanzee named Yu Hui at the Lehe Ledu Zoo in Chongqing, China has been making waves on social media with his impressive dish-washing ability.
The 22-year-old primate was caught on camera cleaning his own plate after a meal, showcasing its intelligence and independence.
According to his keeper, Mr Xu, Yu Hui gets excited when he sees humans performing household chores like washing clothes and sweeping floors.
The chimp has also learned to trim his own nails, brush his teeth, and even work out indoors.
It's no wonder Yu Hui has been named a model worker in the animal world and has gained a following online.
A netizen in China joked: "Yu Hui is more professional at dishwashing than my husband."
While another netizen commented: "Even the chimp at the zoo knows to wash his dishes after eating, my husband only knows to eat!"
The video was provided by Lehe Leduo Zoo.
