China rescue team offer help to people trapped in record floods
Footage has emerged from China of rescue team rowing a dinghy to deliver necessities for residents trapped in the severe floods that hit Hezhou City in eastern China's Guangxi region last week.
The video which was captured on Sunday also shows firemen in a canoe saving a group of passengers from a minibus.
According to news reports, the winter flood which was the most serious one in the city for the record has destroyed 16 houses and damaged over 31k㎡ farmland, with more than four thousand people having to be transferred to safety. No injuries have been reported so far.
