The roof of a store collapsed, causing injuries in eastern China.

The video was filmed in the city of Wenzhou in Zhejiang Province on August 10.

Digital products, such as laptops, are on display in the affected store, with one corner of the ceiling having completely collapsed. White objects, suspected to be construction materials, can be seen tumbling down from the collapsed roof, with a man sitting amid the debris clutching his head.

Another part of the ceiling that hadn't completely collapsed shows signs of damage, with water pouring out from the breach. The clear sound of rushing water can be heard in the video, and there is visible water accumulation on the floor.

A merchant at the scene explained that the incident occurred around 10:30 am. The second floor of the Digital Square was undergoing exterior renovation, and the collapsed area was an attic used for storing renovation debris.

A shop selling laptops was struck by falling partitions. "The attic had renovation waste piled up, and the floor was thin, so when it was being tidied, a partition fell down and hit below, breaking the water pipe as well," said the merchant.

The injured man in the video was a worker clearing renovation debris. "He fell down along with the garbage, but fortunately, he wasn't seriously injured," the merchant added.

The mall was closed for safety inspections due to concerns about unstable wiring caused by the broken water pipe and will resume business once safety has been confirmed.

现场视频显示，事发门店内陈列着电脑等数码产品，一角的天花板已经完全坍塌，有不少疑似建材的白色物件顺着塌陷的房板滚落，一男子正坐在材料堆上捂着头。除此之外，另一侧未完全坍塌的天花板也有缺口破损，有水柱从中倾泻而出，视频中可以听见清晰的水流声，地面上已有一定的积水。
一名商户介绍，事发时间大概在上午10点半左右，数码广场三楼在外部装修，坍塌的部位为堆放装修垃圾的阁楼，现场有一家售卖笔记本电脑的商铺被坍塌的隔板砸到。“阁楼上因为堆放了装修垃圾，房板也比较薄，在整理时就有构架隔板脱落，砸中了下面，水管也一起被砸破了。”
该商户还介绍，视频中的受伤男子为清理装修垃圾的工人。“连人带垃圾一起掉下来了，但还好人没有什么大事。”因为担心水管破裂而造成的线路不稳等问题，今天商场也会停业进行安全检查，确认安全过后再恢复营业。
