A heroic police sprint to cushion a falling electric scooter as a girl climbed aboard in southern China.
The video was filmed in Shaoguan City in Guangdong Province on September 16.
A girl managed to clamber atop an electric scooter. Just as the unstable scooter wobbled dangerously close to toppling, a police officer on duty nearby spotted the crisis.
With lightning speed, he raced towards the teetering scooter, positioning himself as a "human cushion" to shield the young girl from potential harm. Following close behind was the child's mother, who rushed over to steady the scooter.
Miraculously, the little girl escaped the ordeal unscathed, and the brave officer only suffered minor scrapes.
