Public lift SUV and save crash victims in China
Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China capturing the moment several people lifted an SUV off a car to save the two occupants at a crossroad in Jiangxi Province on Saturday, 20 December.
The footage shows the SUV as it lost control and ran into the other car, getting two wheels stuck on its back. Police arrived at the scene and, with the help of over twenty passers-by, managed to move the SUV in ten minutes and save the two victims.
According to local reports, the driver of the SUV, Mr Zhang, was new to driving and mistakenly stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake - causing the accident.
