An university quiz backfired as the projector revealed the answer on the lecturer's hand in eastern China.

The funny video was filmed in Qingdao City in Shandong Province on March 27.

A lecturer attempting to engage his students with a quick quiz covered the projector's answer with his hand, asking the class to choose between options A or B.

However, the projector, seemingly in on the joke, had other ideas as it crisply cast the correct answer B onto his hand. The entire class erupted in laughter, unanimously shouting B in response.

Unaware of the comedic error, the bemused lecturer was left scratching his head, marvelling at the sudden brilliance of his students who appeared to have miraculously guessed the answer correctly.

It wasn't until after the class that a student filmed the hilarious incident and shared it with the lecturer, who finally realised the reason behind his class's unexpected genius.
