On their bush property in Bulahdelah Australia a father hung a long steel cable between two trees. At the end of the cable were some tyres and a spring to slow and absorb the impact.
The front forks, wheel and handlebars off the front of a bike were hung on the cable. His 9 year old son the climbed a ladder and hung onto the handlebars and enjoyed his zipline or flying fox ride.
Unfortunately at the end of the ride he was not hanging on firmly enough and his momentum flipped him off. He did a backwards somersault in the air and landed on his back. Thankfully the only injury he sustained was a small cut to the back of the head which only required a bandage.
