A security camera video has emerged from China of the owner of a phone shop who caught an alleged thief robbing his store.

The clip, captured in Zibo, Shandong Province on August 1, shows a man wearing a mask breaking into the shop and appearing to steal phones and money.

The shop owner and one employee who had already closed up for the day happen to go back to the shop to pick something up and catch the man red-handed.

After a brief scuffle with the shop owner, the alleged thief manages to get away.

However police later tracked him down and arrested him.

Then, they start a fight with him and try to catch him.

After fighting with the shop owner for a while, the thief finally frees himself and runs away.

Police arrested the thief at the end and the case was in further investigation.
