Back to school with a slap in the face - from teacher
Shocking footage has emerged from eastern China of a secondary school teacher slapping students in front of class on the first day of school.
The video, filmed in Hefei city in Anhui Province on September 1, shows a teacher repeatedly slapping students on the face one-by-one.
Local media reported the teacher slapped more than 20 students because they made mistakes attempting to write out classic Chinese poetry from memory.
The teacher was suspended.
