12ft long python caught hiding in a washing machine
ARCHIVE ONLY - OLD FOOTAGE - ARCHIVE ONLY - OLD FOOTAGE
This was the terrifying moment a homeowner found a 12ft long PYTHON hiding inside his WASHING MACHINE. Korncharoon Roekchai, 48, opened the door and disturbed the snake which leapt towards him.
Korncharoon fell back and kicked the door shut with his bare feet. He called wildlife rescuers who spent 30 minutes carefully catching the angry serpent and putting it in a sack.
Terrifying footage shows the killer reptile spread its massive deadly jaws as it tries to evade capture and stay inside its warm new home in Chachoengsao, Thailand.
Korncharoon said: ''The washing machine had been having some problems lately but I never expected this. I opened the door and nearly had heart attack. I remember the pink inside the python's mouth and lots of scales. It was the biggest fright I ever had. I fell back. I kicked the door shut and jumped back. Then rang the wildlife centre to come quickly.''
He said the washing machine, which is kept outside on his patio, was empty when it stopped working a few days ago. He called a plumber to check the machine and then left it to stand idle. Rescues who caught the snake believe it had slithered into the washing machine to keep warm.
The Tambon Takham rescue foundation said: ''When the door was opened the snake was scared. He responded by first giving a warning then trying to attack. He's safe now and the man can use his washing machine again.''
