A Labour councillor has been caught on camera turning the air blue after he unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade at a pair of burly bouncers who wouldn't let his drunk partner re-enter a pub.

Cllr Caleb Tomlinson swore and waved his council business card at two doormen, pushed one and then told the pair he would have the Stanley Arms shut down - despite not having any jurisdiction in the area.

Tomlinson, who represents the Bamber Bridge East district of Preston, Lancs., was caught on bouncer Steven Fludder's body cam outside one of the city's popular boozers.

The doormen have now made an official complaint to South Ribble Council over the "horrendous" behavior.

Yesterday (Sat) Steven, 33, of Preston, Lancs., said: "He'd been in the premises with who I assumed is his wife, then they'd both gone out.
