Science teacher ignites 40 gas-filled balloons in front of cheering students at Australia school
Science teacher Jacob Strickling ignited 40 gas-filled balloons at a school in Sydney to celebrate his alma mater's 40th anniversary.
The video, shot on May 29 at Covenant Christian School, shows Strickling torching balloon after balloon lined up on a horizontal pole. The display culminated in the ignition of a large green balloon, not before putting on a pair of safety goggles and pulling out a retractable stick that would allow him to bring the flame to the balloon from a more guarded distance. Cheers of excitement can be heard from the students in the audience.
Strickling is known for conducting explosive experiments, some of which can be found on his educational YouTube channel, Make Science Fun.
