The internet is searching for an unknown man who launched into a bizarre foul-mouthed tirade against a group of friends in a kebab shop in Auckland, New Zealand.

Kermath Davies and his entourage had slipped into an eatery on the city’s infamous Karangahape Road for a 4 am kebab.

But the trendily-dressed man in the video reportedly approached the group.

“It wasn't long until he started cracking snide remarks directed towards myself and another friend,” said Davies.

The man is seen directing crude comments towards Davies, including insults about his hat, themed on 90s sitcom “Frasier”.

After nonsensical remarks about Apple founder Steve Jobs, it escalates to threats of physical violence with a knife.

“We called the cops because he would just not stop, it continued outside on the street until police arrived,” added Davies.

New Zealanders are now desperately trying to work out the man’s identity after he claimed to be the son of the German Ambassador to the country, according to Davies.

Davies added: “We don't know him at all, had never seen him ever, and New Zealand is a tiny, tiny place, so it's very strange we hadn't seen him before.”

The footage was filmed on August 7 but went viral in the country this week.

Newsflare has reached out to the German embassy in New Zealand for comment.
