Cyclists riding in the middle of a road in Northampton in England's East Midlands (without high visibility clothing or lights) receive the shock of their life when a truck driver sounds his air horns.

"Cars up ahead were having to brake and go around a large obstruction in the road. Although I was unable to see what it was," said the driver, who said they were being inconsiderate and that he sounded the horns and flashed his lights to let them know they were endangering both themselves and others.

"Their reaction was hilarious and they moved out of the way immediately. With one cyclist almost falling up the kerb," he added. "Maybe they'll think twice before riding like that again!"

I was driving through Northampton and I noticed that cars up ahead were having to brake and go around a large obstruction in the road. Although I was unable to see what it was.

As I approached I noticed it was 3 inconsiderate cyclists riding in the middle of the road, as if they owned the road, no lights, no Hi Vis clothing.

I decided to flash my lights and sound my air horns to make them aware of my impending presence and to let them know that they were putting themselves and others in danger.

Their reaction was hilarious and they moved out of the way immediately. With one cyclist almost falling up the kerb!

I'm sure they thought the worst and probably had to have a change of underwear shortly afterwards.

Maybe they'll think twice before riding like that again!
