One Palestinian was allegedly killed and at least 312 wounded as thousands protest on the Gaza Strip on Friday.

The man who was killed was 25-year-old Karim Mohamed Kallab, according to the Hamas-run health ministry.

Protesters were challenging the Israeli-imposed 11-year blockade of Gaza. Israeli forces fired live rounds and tear gas .

Palestinians also sent fire balloons and kites into Israel, reported The Times of Israel, stating that they caused at least seven fires along the border.

The forces fired live bullets and rubber-coated steel rounds at the protesters who gathered at many encampments along the border, killing a young man -- Karim Mohamed Kallab 25 years old , and injuring 312 others, including 54 by live bullets. Some of the wounded were moved to hospital and others were treated in the field hospitals.

In the meantime, Israeli armored tanks stationed along Gaza border bombed with two missiles a location near one of the encampments east of Gaza City, but caused no casualties.
