A wedding dancer dodged a bullet miraculously after a man aimed his gun at her head and fired at a wedding in northeastern India.

The chilling incident occurred at a village near Motihari in Bihar state, on December 16. with video showing the dancer performing on stage with her partner before a large audience.

The footage then shows a man standing close to the stage and firing a gun at her while she and her partner were taking a selfie. Though the bullet missed her, the dancer’s face was engulfed in smoke from the shot.

The dancer collapsed from shock and was carried off stage. She has been admitted to a hospital in Mohammadpur where doctors said she was in shock but had not suffered any injury from the bullet.

A local police officer said the man had been arrested and the cause of shooting was being probed.
