Wedding venue turns into a battleground as guests and hotel staffs get into a brawl
Indian weddings are known for their grand celebrations filled with fun, music and good food.
However, in this video shared online, the marriage celebration has turned into a nightmare. The incident took place at a wedding function on Jan. 9, 2019, at a five-star hotel Piccadilly, in Janakpuri, in the capital city of India.
The video that has emerged, two men square off against each other in a fight, apparently over the quality of the food that was served to them.
It is shown in the video that a waiter is mercilessly being beaten up by one of the guests. Another attendant comes running to his rescue. He picks the injured man up, carries him away from the angry mob.
When the hotel staffs tried to intervene, they too were assaulted. The hurt waiter, who couldn’t even move his leg, was threatened to be beaten up again. But he pleads with the attacker not to it him again.
Women among the guests are seen trying to mellow down their men, asking them to put an end to the commotion.
The guests were drinking during the celebration, which might have been a possible reason for the argument to flare up in a physical fight.
Later, they forced their way into the kitchen and started breaking cutleries, other utensils and furniture.
Both the parties from the groom’s and bride’s side were involved in the immoral act, causing a ruckus.
Video of the fight and the aftermath of the rage have been circulating on social media platforms. Not even a single plate was found unbroken.
