A truck driver narrowly avoided flattening a car after it changed direction quickly in northern China.

The terrifying moment, filmed at an intersection between the Guangyuan Street and Hong Sheng East Road in Helan County in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on May 22, shows a speeding truck suddenly changing its direction twice to avoid a car turning a corner at the crossing.

In another video, the lorry can be seen narrowly missing the white car but scratching the side of it.

Fortunately, the four people in the white car were not injured. The car driver was blamed for the incident, reports said.

近日， 贺兰县广源街与洪胜东路交叉路口发生一起交通事故， 一辆白色轿车遇绿灯左转，对向的直行半挂车司机迅速制动车辆避让，所幸只是将白色轿车右侧整侧刮伤，并没有引发严重事故造成人员伤亡。
现场道路路口中赫然显现的”S”形状制动拖印，记录着这场让人惊魂未定的事故。

据警方提供的监控录像显示，当时信号灯为绿灯，白色轿车强行左转，相向的半挂车辆司机被逼无奈，只得将驾驶模式从“偶像派”转为“实力派”，果断“蛇形走位”避免了严重后果的发生。

不敢想象如果没有这样及时避让，白色轿车将遭遇怎样的飞来横祸。

民警根据监控视频分析，在这起事故当中，如果半挂车辆当时没有采取有效的避让措施，极易酿成重大的交通事故，而当时白色轿车内乘坐的四名乘车人员都将会有生命危险。

贺兰县公安局交巡警大队对此次事故进行责任判定并作出相关处理：转弯车辆司机负事故全责，双方车损6000余元全由转弯车辆承担。
