A learner driver did doughnuts after pressing the accelerator by mistake when trying to reverse into a parking area in southern China.

The bizarre incident, captured at Yongxing Driving School in Nanning City in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on June 16, shows a white car spinning repeatedly.

A man tried to ask the driver to brake and was nearly hit by the car sending him falling to the ground.

The car finally stopped after having spun for around two minutes. The lawn and the guardrails were damaged along with the car's tyre and the bumper.

The learner driver was reportedly too nervous and pressed the accelerator accidentally. Fortunately, no one was injured.
