A motorcyclist in Thailand got a nasty surprise when he attempted a dangerous overtaking move to get around a truck.

Weaving through traffic at high speed, he attempted to overtake a truck in the middle lane, only to run straight into a stationary truck in the right lane, then bounce off the car in the middle lane.

Despite a surely painful crash, the man luckily survived and later picked himself up off the road in Bangkok.

This motorcyclist had a lucky escape - after crashing into the back of a fuel tanker and falling straight into the path of an oncoming car. Miraculously, the young man escaped unharmed and picked himself up after the collision in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 6. Passing driver Keepor Sutteen, who filmed the incident on his dashboard camera, said: ''I think the guy on the motorcycle is lucky he was not seriously hurt. At least he was wearing a helmet.''
