The fatal incident took place on Sept 12 along the Thoraipakkam-Pallavaram road in Chennai city, the capital of Tamil Nadu state.

Identified as Subhasri, 23, the deceased worked as a techie.
She was rushed to hospital following the accident, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Doctors said she was kept in intensive care and had sustained grave injuries to her arms, ribs and shoulder.
Meanwhile, police have arrested two people- Manoj, the lorry driver and S Jayagopal, a leader of the local AIADMK party.
