This is a heartwarming moment a schoolboy gives his mum a big kiss as she drops him off at the school gates.

Yodyouy Maryer was riding the motorcycle to send her youngest son Amarin Maryer, 13, to school in Nakhon Pathom, central Thailand last Monday (09/09).

Footage from the morning shows the year-nine pupil was collecting his bag and leaving the vehicle before reaching forward to his mother for a warm hug and a kiss.

The mother was watching her boy leave making sure he was walking safely to the school before driving away.

Teacher Seri Sookyothin witnessed the adorable family moment. She said: ''I was on morning duty when I saw the family showing such affection.

''That boy is usually called by his nickname Ice and he has been showing his love for his mother before going to school since he was seven years old.''

The teacher also said that it was unusual for a boy especially when teenagers to show such public affection towards their parents but Ice was not ashamed of it at all.

He added: ''Boys will become shy of showing physical affections to their loves one but Ice was not one of them. It is not something to be ashamed of to let your family know how much you love them.''
