A man in south-east India was shocked to find a 15-foot-cobra slithering in his toilet and immediately called for help.

The man, Sushant Patra of Niladrinagar in Balimela of Malkangiri district, Odisha state was taking a bath outside the toilet shed on October 7, when he spotted the enormous King Cobra and immediately informed his family.

Later Forest staff were called in for help, with snake expert Sibu Lenka reaching the spot and rescuing the snake with help of two local youths, releasing it into the jungle later.

15 foot long King Cobra rescued from southern East India

The family was panicked a lot after a giant King Cobra was spotted inside a toilet of the house in wee hours today.
Later, a forest staff was called in for help, following which Forester Sibu Lenka reached the spot and rescued the snake with help of two local youth.
However, the reptile was later rescued by snake catchers before being released into forest.
