Huge 16-foot-long king cobra found roaming near village in eastern India

A rare 16 foot King Cobra was rescued from Odisha's Similipal Tiger Reserve.

The snake was captured after an hour and handed over to the Kaptipada Range office. It set free later.

In Hatikuta village under Dukura Range of Similipal Tiger Reserve of Mayurbhanj district, a King Cobra has been rescued by Krushna Chandra Gochhayat. To rescue the king cobra he was called by the Range officer of Dukura forest range.

In the visuals King Cobra seen by the villagers at the middle of the village,suddenly they tried to kill but the King Cobra climbed up to a tree after that villagers informed to Dukura range officials. After one hour Mr.krushna Chandra Gochhayat rescued it from the village.

The King Cobra is about 17 feet long and after rescuing he also released the snake in the deep forest for its existence.
