This is the heart-locking moment a leopard is seen stealing away a dog sleeping outside a home in northern India. The incident that happened at 4:05am on October 11 in Shanan, Shimla in Himachal Pradesh was captured on CCTV camera.
The video shows the big cat sneaking into the courtyard of the house and waiting for almost 3 minutes, apparently to ensure that it is a precision strike. Once convinced it was the right time to attack, the big cat tip-toed towards the dog and got the canine by the neck. The unfortunate dog unsuccessfully tried to put up a fight, but it soon gave in as the predator dragged the canine down the staircase. In Shimla, leopards preying on the street as well as pet dogs is commonplace.
