Eerie sight of abandoned building with hundreds of smiling portraits
An abandoned building in southern China has hundreds of smiling portraits on its wall in.
In the eerie clip, filmed in the city of Shenzhen on October 14, the outside wall of the abandoned building was decorated with hundreds of meter-high pictures of people of various ethnicities, all of them smiling.
The video shows a worker trying to taking a frame down and bring it back into the building through a window.
According to reports, the photo frames were used to cover windows and air conditioner holes and decorate the outer wall of the building.
Some locals said the portraits made them feel like inside a cemetery.
The smiling portraits have since been taken down although the property management did not give any reason.
