British businessman and Filipino wife board helicopter after being rescued from ISIS-linked militants
Rescued British hostage Allan Hyrons and his Filipino wife Wilma Hyrons boarded a helicopter in Sulu province, the Philippines, on November 25.
The couple was taken from a beach resort on Mindanao island by four armed men to the ISIS-linked terror group on 4 October this year.
Their kidnappers were believed to belong to the IS-loyal militant group Abu Sayyaf - fled after a gun battle in the nearby Sulu region on Sunday.
UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said the couple were "safe and well".
Mr Hyrons, 70, who is a dual national, has lived in Mindanao's Zamboanga del Sur region with his wife since 2013.
