Flush with funds, this bridegroom and his family spent a whopping $145,000 by throwing wads of currency notes in the air and virtually making it rain money at his wedding in western India's Gujarat.

The incident took place on Nov. 30 in the state's Jamnagar district.

Visuals show the wedding procession where the groom and his relatives can be seen throwing cash in the air as the notes spiral in the air for sometime before coming down.

They seem to have been going overboard with the spending as suggested by the ongoing activities.

According to reports, the amount summed up to a total of almost $145,000.

Though spending cash during a wedding procession is a common practice in certain places in India, such a huge amount has never been involved before.
