This mother bear protected her cub from a much larger male by squaring up to and then chasing off the intruder.

A hidden camera set up in Borzont, Romania, captured the encounter that saw a male bear sneak up on a 1-year-old cub named Raspberry and his mother.

The mother showed her maternal instincts as she confronted the male before slapping him and chasing him away.

An about 1 years old cub with his mom called Raspberry was eating at the feeding station. When the bigger male bear was closer to the female bear, she was slapping and chased him away.
