University student manages to swim back to shore on his own after falling into frozen lake in China
A student managed to swim back by himself to shore after falling into a frozen lake at the University of Jinan.
The video, shot in the city of Jinan in eastern China's Shandong Province on January 3, shows a boy suddenly falling into the lake as the ice surface underneath him gave way.
Since the lake is shallow, he used his arms and body to break the ice swam back to the water's edge.
According to a student from the uni, the freshers fall into the frozen lake every year. Since some of them come from south china and barely see ice and snow, they walked onto the icy lake due to their curiosity.
