A royal family in west India have attempted a world record by lighting more than 5,000 lamps to create their emblem on January 30.

Over 5,000 "diyas", or lanterns were used to create the emblem, which measured 100 square feet. Around 450 women from different walks of life lit the lamps, which used more than 500 litres of oil.

Just few days ago,the rajkot's royal family have created new guineess book of recors with dance with sword theme ,now they created another record by lighting more then 5,000 lamps to create the emblem of the rajkot royal family.

Infact two world records were created which entered into the Guinness World Book of Records, UK. The first was for most purohits (51) at a Rajya Abhishek, while the second was for making the largest emblem (Rajkot state) with lamps. Over 5,000 diyas were used to create the emblem, which measured 100 feet square. Around 450 women from different walks of life lit the lamps, which used more than 500 litres of oil, thus setting an example of unity in diversity.
This kind of record was never created and it was something new venture too to create the lamp emblem with such precision.many women were working for this to happen and today we feel very happy to created lighted emblem with lamp and from the top of the sky rajkot name and our massage for the people of rajkot was there to see
