This is the terrifying moment a satellite dish flew off the roof of a moving Sky van today (February 8th) and almost hit the car behind.

"Whilst travelling on the A491 towards Stourbridge behind a Sky van, an unsecured satellite dish flew off the roof of the van causing me to brake suddenly," said the filmer.

"The dish landed on the road in front of me as I tried to take evasive action," the filmer added.

"The Sky van did not stop further up and carried on. The dish stayed in the outside lane as I rejoined the carriageway when it was safe to do so," he said.

"I stopped at a nearby parking point and saw I had scrapes to my bumper, but it was a close shave," he concluded.
