A reptile breeder struggled to tame his new monitor lizard who reacted angrily to be picked up. Acid Rahsid went into the enclosure to tame his newly arrived rock monitor in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Footage from last Sunday (Feb 8) shows how he walked over to the stud, who clinged tightly to the cage while hissing ferociously. Acid said that the lizard had just arrived and he wanted to tame it but it proved difficult. He said: "I want to pair a couple of monitor lizards successfully and have been trying to tame the new male but it's not easy.'' Raising monitor lizards is popular in Malaysia, where they can sell as pets for around 3,800RM (708 GBP) .
