Time lapse of Swans on a flooded field in Castleford
A field in Castleford became flooded during the recent Storm Ciara & Storm Dennis and heavy rain. The field off Methley Road in West Yorkshire, used to be home to a rugby pitch, but due to close proximity to the River Calder, was prone to constant flooding, and the pitch had to be moved to higher ground close by. Swans & Geese have taken the opportunity to dominate the field, which is close to housing and as such, the birds are being fed by locals.
