A number of Makassar Port Police officers took to the streets to conduct socialization about large-scale social restrictions using traditional Bugis-Makassar clothing, Monday 20 April 2020.

Police officers came to the house and workplace to socialize social restrictions to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Makassar City. Uniquely, not only wearing police uniforms, these female and male police officers use traditional clothing to attract the attention of the public.

Makassar Port Police Chief AKBP Muhammad Kadarislam Kasim said in an interview that the activity was related to Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), because in the midst of the community there was panic and fear to face it.

"Through humane methods by dressing in custom we come to socialize to the community, conveying Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) do not need to be feared and not provide panic. But there are strict rules to break the Covid-19 chain"
