Cops surprise toddler with balloons and cake reacting to mothers tweet during COVID-19 lockdown in northern India
Bringing smiles on the faces even amid the lockdown, cops arrived at the house of a one-year-old girl with gifts and cakes on the occasion of her birthday in northern India's Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place in Mathura district on April 29.
A resident of Maha Vidya Colony, was worried about the birthday celebration of her daughter, amid the restrictions prevalent during the lockdown.
She tweeted the same on social media.
The tweet was noticed by the Lucknow command office and the mother was asked to provide a photo of the birthday girl.
The photo was forwarded to a senior officer with instructions to gift chocolates, balloons and a cake to the girl.
Following this, the police reached the girl's place with a cake and gifts in order to celebrate her birthday on April 29 evening.
The gesture was an incredibly heartwarming one.
