Filipino man wears green Power Ranger suit as PPE to go shopping
This is the amusing moment a Filipino man wore his green Power Rangers costume while shopping in the supermarket during the coronavirus lockdown on May 10.
Superhero outfit collector Carlo Angelo Garces, 32, from Mandaluyong City, the Philippines said he wanted his fellow shoppers to smile and forget about the pandemic when they see him.
He said: "It feels good to spread good vibes especially during this time of crisis when people are very anxious."
Carlo added that the costumes double as his protective equipment against the coronavirus whenever he goes out so it is a win-win solution.
The Philippines has enforced strict rules on wearing protective masks and other equipment when going out of the house to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
