Protesters of Portland, Oregon
This footage was filmed and produced 25 June 2020. Protesters of Portland continue to march for Black Lives Matter movement every day.
"The video was filmed yesterday, June 25th, 2020, at 8:59pm pst; in Portland, Oregon at Alberta Park. I was walking my dog and heard people chanting from a far. Cars were honking and people were marching. I began to walk towards the direction of the commotion and noticed it was a protest. Cars had the letters "BLM" painted on the back and side windows. Protesters had cardboard signs that read: "End Racism;" "BLM" for Black Lives Matter; and "Black Lives Matter, Too."
I began filming and posted it on Instagram and Facebook. After uploading, I walked closer and saw towards the very front of the protest, there was hot food and cold beverages for the protestors being handed out by friends and family members who were part of the protest. They drove and met with the rest of the group to set up a mini food station" said Rosie M. Meyer, author of the video.
