Severe flash floods have hit southwestern Ukraine after heavy rains caused rivers to burst their banks.

Footage filmed on June 23rd in Kitsmans'kyi district showed fast-flowing water sweeping through a residential area.

The floods have destroyed 110 km of road infrastructure and 90 bridges, according to NATO.

The Western regions of Ukraine faced the threat of an unprecedented flood. As a result of heavy rains, rivers overflowed their banks, which caused severe flooding in large areas.
Bukovina was particularly hard hit by the storm, where powerful water flows literally wash away houses and roads. The case is nearing disaster, as the entire infrastructure of the region is under threat. Filmed by Denis.
