Peacock dances freely in the wilderness to attract female counterpart in northern India
A peacock was seen dancing to attract a peahen in the north Indian state of Rajasthan.
The birds were caught on camera in Ranthambore National Park of Sawai Madhopur on May 27, 2012.
The video shows, the peacock dancing with its feathers wild open while trying to attract a peahen passing, by its dance.
According to the reports, peacocks dance to attract their female counterparts using their feathers and it is also stated it’s a call to mate.
It is also seen the peacock trying to get the attention of the peahen by turning around and fanning it's feathers.
