Gaza: The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the registration of the first injuries outside the quarantine centers in the Gaza Strip, and announced in a press conference the injury of four citizens of one family in the Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that it is trying to determine the map of the epidemic and the source of infection, and declared a complete ban on all facilities in the Gaza Strip for forty-eight hours, including education, mosques and wedding halls.

He called on citizens not to leave their homes and adhere to government measures only, and that security will follow up the curfew.

The continuing power outage crisis in Gaza City

In addition, the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip intensified, with the escalation of the occupation from the steps of the siege, as I decided, starting from Sunday, to stop the entry of all goods and goods into the Gaza Strip, except for food and medical goods only, after 13 days of closing the Kerem Shalom commercial crossing in front of fuel and building materials.

This caused a severe electricity crisis, by stopping the power station from working, and the arrival of electricity for four hours per day only, which contributed to the stopping of the work of water wells and their access to homes, as well as threatening all health sectors.

The Director of the Laboratories Department at the Ministry of Health, Dean Mushtaha, confirmed that the power cuts for long hours negatively affect the performance of laboratories and blood banks, and explained that the power outage that extends for long and continuous hours leads to the failure to complete the required laboratory tests, indicating that the laboratory equipment needs a continuous electrical current. Especially samples that need to be stored in testing materials such as "Corona" virus test materials, which are stored at a temperature of minus 20 degrees Celsius, which leads to their spoilage.
