Cal Fire responded to reports of a head on crash between a red Dodge challenger and another dark colored vehicle on North Indian Canyon Dr near Dillon Road in Desert Hot Springs . Arriving crews located the two vehicle with major damage. Two parties were trapped in the Challenger and were later pronounced deceased on scene by paramedics. The conditions of the driver and passengers on board the second vehicle is unknown at this time. Coroner is on scene and firefighters are extricating the deceased from the wreckage. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time and under investigation and it's unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash. North Indian Canyon Drive is closed in both directions of travel near the vicinity of the incident.
