HEMET, CA- On 10/13/2023 at about 4:15 pm, Hemet Fire Department responded to reports of a gunshot wound victim in the area of Domenigoni Parkway and Sanderson Ave. Arriving crews located a silver Kia sedan with damage from gunfire stopped in the middle dirt area of the roadway on Domenigoni. At least two victims were located and transported via ambulance to local hospitals. Their condition is unknown at this time. A black nissan SUV was also stopped in the area with what appeared to be a bullet hole in the driver door of the vehicle. The driver was being interviewed by PD and did not seem to be injured. A black and white SUV with a male and female passenger were also at the scene. The female was visibly shaken because of the incident and the male was being interviewed by police. The couple were family of the individuals taken to the hospital, according to witnesses. The circumstances behind what caused the shooting are unknown at this time and it's unknown if the shooter was one of those transported to the hospital or if another vehicle that fled the scene was involved. Domenigoni Parkway eastbound from Warren Road is closed pending the conclusion of the investigation.
